I first met Elliott and Emily at a wedding I photographed a couple of years ago. They were warm, kind, funny and utter style icons. I remember thinking at the time “Boy, would I love to photograph their wedding one day.” One year later I received an email in my inbox and was filled with joy! It was a very special moment and I’m so thrilled to have been able to see them again and hang out. They are two incredible human beings, their kindness is boundless. It honestly felt like I was there with old friends capturing their day, which is a testament to how open, welcoming and inclusive they are.
Elliott and Emily had their wedding at the stunning Victorian Gothic mansion, De Vere Tortworth Court in Gloucestershire. Family and friends travelled in from all parts of the world, it was a truly special and heart-warming day. As expected, their aesthetics were out of this world. Elliott donned a tan cord made-to-measure suit from Trunk Clothiers with a vintage shirt and brogues from Alden Shoe Company. Emily looked absolutely divine in a bespoke vintage dress from Canada, altered by Elies Alterations who did a fantastic job. Her shoes were vintage Chanel (dreamy) and I just loved Emily’s gold hoops, a gift from Elliott that matched the buttons on her dress. Emily’s evening dress was a silk masterpiece from A.W.A.K.E. Mode, she just looked amazing. Hair and make up was by Maria Gomez and all of the flowers were by the amazing The White Horse Flower.
Thank you Elliott and Emily so, so much for allowing me a front row seat to one of the happiest days. You are two of the most generous and kind people I have ever met, and it was an utter pleasure to capture all of your moments for you. Can’t wait to hang out soon when it’s safe to do so.
